Wing Pro very slow on OSX

Hello,

I have been using Wing Pro for long time now on OSX and it's been all good. However, recently something happened that Wing became extremely slow. It's slow to the point I can't really use it. Typing code in has a very visible lag, opening top menu is with lag, even popping about window is not instant. This seems to get worse the more source file I have opened in tabs. It was not an issue before though, I could have dozens of files open. Now 5 files is totally killing it. I tried launching previously installed Wing Pro 6 and it's slow as well so it doesn't seem to be v7 issue. I have not updated OS nor did anything special I can think of that the slowdowns started. All other apps I use are fine. If anyone has any ideas on what I could do I will be very grateful.

Could you please collect a profile so we can see what is going on? This can be done like this:

  • Use Edit -> Command By Name and enter: internal-profile-start
  • Use Wing and do something that consumes CPU (or just wait a while if it's churning away)
  • Use Edit -> Command By Name and enter: internal-profile-stop
  • Then submit a bug report from Wing's help menu and check the box to include the error-log.

Wing 6 uses an entirely different configuration directory and project files so it's strange that you have this in both.
