Refreshing Virtual Environment

I have a program based on a virtual environment. Within that virtual environment, I did some pip installs, but they were not picked up by Wing. I had to exit Wing and re-open Wing to get the new packages recognized by source analysis.

Is there some prescribed SOP to handle this?

The new modules should be picked up automatically. The workaround when they're not is to switch projects or to restart Wing.

Related to this, I am finding that Rescan Directory doesn't appear to work correctly. If I add a file/folder outside of Wing and I rescan the directory, nothing shows up. However, if I exit Wing and restart, it sees the new files.

I must add that it is very annoying. Especially since I can use the -m option or black in the IDE and am finding myself doing a lot of work outside the IDE. (Yes, looking forward to 7.2)

Sorry for the problems. The failure of Rescan Directory may be an issue with updating the Project tree at the UI level. Hopefully 7.2 will solve at least some of the issues you are running into. Thanks very much for letting us know about them!
