Change from remote to local development fails

Having big trouble to use WIng 10 after switching from a remote project to a local one. Some relicts of the remote project semm to be active. The cursor in the local wing projext freezes for about 20 secons or randomly, you cannot type anymore and no menues can be activated. How can I reactivate reliable local development and debugging? . When I go back to my remote project, everything works fine!

What version of Wing is this and on what OS? Submitting a bug report from the help menu with the error log may show us what is going on.

In any case, most likely switching to the non-remote project and then restarting Wing will solve it. You can use Edit > Command by Name with the command restart-wing to do that and return to the same place you're at before restarting.

Right-click on the toolbar to add an icon for that command if you end up having to use this work-around often, or add a key binding with the User Interface > Keyboard > Custom Key Bindings preference.

However, if this is Wing 10 we should try to diagnose and fix it.
