scrolling and moving the caret
Hello, How can I scroll through the code and move the caret with it so that it is always at the page being displayed.

The commands scroll-text-down / scroll-text-up and scroll-text-page-down / scroll-text-page-up keep the caret in same position on screen while scrolling the text. You could bind keys to those commands in the User Interface > Keyboard > Custom Key Bindings preference.
