tutorial context copy ignores selection

I'm running through the tutorial. If I select text to copy to the Shell window, and use the right-click context menu, it always copies the entire tutorial page. If I use Ctrl-C, it copies only the text I've selected. This is very confusing and unlike any other program I've seen. Shouldn't a Ctrl C and right-click Copy do the same thing?
