preference override file ignored?

When I invoke wing via wing7.2 --prefs-file=alternateprefs the alternate preferences file specification is, as far as I can tell, completely ignored. How does one invoke the alternate prefs file and have it behave as described in the wing manual? (Yes, the file is in the correct place.)

It looks like it needs to be --prefs-file alternateprefs without the '='. There appears to be inconsistency in that some args want the = and others do not!

Aha! That was indeed the problem, thanks. The manual and "wing7.2 --help" will need to be corrected.

Will do, thanks.
