git diff against arbitrary commit/branch
 

I want to do a side-by-side diff of files against some arbitrary SHA/commit, or branch/tag. Is there way to do that?

To enter a block of code:

  • enter empty line after your previous text
  • paste or type the code
  • select the code and press the button above

It's currently not possible to diff against an arbitrary revision. It's on our TODO list for a future Wing version.
